All in God’s Plan: Mission Trip Update
Although things have not gone according to plan, this comes to show how our plans are never set in stone. It is our God who has already established our steps and we must have complete trust in Him over any plans.
When going on a mission trip, there is a lot of time and preparation that goes into it. The itinerary of the mission trip is one important aspect as it determines what will be done and where.
The mission trip officially started on November 14, 2024. Originally, we were supposed to start on November 13, 2024, attending Faith Academy, however, due to the typhoons, students needed to catch up on the days they have missed.
Due to the typhoon warnings, the places we originally were supposed to go were affected so we had to cancel or postpone some events.
So far, Audrey and I have gone to Batangas and Manila, Philippines.
November 14, 2024
At Batangas, we hosted a Christian-songwriting workshop, led by Audrey as she has experience. I shared the difference between worship songs and Christian songs, along with what it means to be a worship leader. In addition to the workshop, it was a worship night where Audrey and I had the chance to lead worship with (church named) praise and worship team and shared some of Audrey’s original music.

We were in Manila visiting a church named Zion. Similar to Batangas, the lessons were shared during the service and we were accompanied by Pastor Therren Xavier. The workshop was not fully done, it was only briefly mentioned as the pastor of Zion Church asked that we speak more so on what it means to be a worship leader and provide encouragement to those serving in the music ministry.
Updated Itinerary
In the last two weeks of this mission trip, Audrey and I will be going to Faith Academy in Manila, Boracay, Baguio, Tarlac, Malaysia, Cambodia and Thailand.
The worship nights and services have been fruitful. No matter where we are, what languages we speak, we all lay it down onto God, giving Him all of the praise and all of the glory.

Romans 8:28 reads, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
